Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data The Makeover collects, why, and how we keep it safe. It follows India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. By using our website or app you agree to this policy.
1. What we collect
Customers: your name, mobile number, address, map location of the service address, booking details, reviews you give, and payment status. If you create an account, your PIN is stored in locked (encrypted) form.
Payments: payments are handled by Razorpay. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank password. We only receive the payment status and reference.
AI skin analysis and try-on: your photo is checked on your own phone to create suggestions. The photo is not saved by The Makeover. Only the result you choose to share (for example in chat) is used to answer you.
Beauty partners: name, mobile, home and work address, work location, documents (PAN, masked Aadhaar, certificate, driving licence if given), photos, and UPI / bank details for payments.
Website use: basic visit counts and pages viewed, to improve the service. Your browser may keep small data (local storage) such as your cart and login so you do not have to type again.
2. Why we use it
To take and deliver your booking, show live status, send booking updates on WhatsApp or SMS, process payments and refunds, handle complaints, keep customers and partners safe, and meet tax and legal needs.
With your permission, we may send you offers on WhatsApp. You can ask us to stop at any time.
3. Who can see it
Your assigned beautician sees only your first name, service, time, address and map location for that booking. She does not see your other bookings.
Customers see only the beautician's first name, photo, rating and job selfie. Partner documents, phone numbers and bank details are never shown to customers.
Service providers who help us run the service: Razorpay (payments), Cloudflare (website hosting and AI), Cloudinary (photos) and Telegram / WhatsApp (messages). They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
4. How long we keep it
Booking and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Partner job selfies are kept for 30 days. Other data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.
5. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, by writing to themakeover.2026@gmail.com or on WhatsApp +91 7976736389. Some records (like tax invoices) must be kept by law even after a delete request.
6. Safety
Data is stored on secure cloud servers with access only for authorised team members. PINs are stored in locked form and every view by an admin is recorded.
7. Children
Our services are for adults. A person under 18 can book only with a parent or guardian.
